Art of Movement is excited to announce a new program available at every city this season! In a
new collaboration between AOM owner, Mikey Trasoras, and AOM Faculty, Eoghan Dillon –
AOM will be partnering with Red Rhino to offer movement-based classes for the
neurodivergent and disabled dance community. These classes will be offered the Friday of
every event, and will be led by Eoghan Dillon.
For interested dancers and their families, there
will be a suggested donation of $25 per dancer. However, class is offered on a sliding scale so
that everyone who wants to dance can participate. We are thrilled about the addition of RÚA to
our events & hope that you are as well! For any questions or further information, please contact
Eoghan Dillon at redrhinodance@gmail.com.

SPACE FOR EVERY DANCER
RÚA will offer movement-based classes for the neurodivergent and disabled dance
community. Through a judgment-free environment, we offer instruction that promotes
laughter, exploration, creativity, artistic expression and fun.
COMMUNITY, REPRESENTATION, EMPOWERMENT
Our ultimate goal is to share the healing joy that comes from movement to
communities that may not always have access. We hope to help dancers build their
connection to mind and body and leave feeling empowered to continue dancing.

INCLUSIVE DANCE PARTIES
Each RÚA dance party will consist of the following:
Warm up: With our “Warm ups” we hope to clearly provide students with safe,
accessible and fun ways to warm up their bodies before dancing. We also emphasize
providing insight into why it is so important to warm your bodies up before dancing for
safety and growth.
Ice Breaker: An “Ice Breaker ” exercise is designed to help students get acquainted
with each other and their new environment, these help increase comfort and likelihood of
contribution to class.
Dance Activity: A customized activity designed to build brain/body connection pulled from
extensive Red Rhino dance curriculum in development for 8+ years
Dance Party: A culminating “free dance” to high energy music giving the dancers
a chance to engage freely with each other, use what they’ve learned in class,
and celebrate the joy of dancing with friends.

Red Rhino, under the direction of Eoghan Dillon, has been teaching in and creating spaces for students from diverse populations and communities across the US and Canada for over 10 years. Red Rhino aims to create space for every dancer to spread the mission of bringing dance wherever it is needed.
