Ryan Ramirez is from Northern California, has been dancing since the age of four and has advanced training in almost every discipline. Before bursting onto the scene on “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 8, Ryan gained notoriety and experience from assisting Mia Michaels on multiple seasons of SYTYCD U.S. and Canada as well as workshops and conventions across the world. Since placing in the Top 12 on SYTYCD herself, she has gone on to perform in music videos, industrials, and on many large award shows including The Emmys, Video Music Awards, American Music Awards and the Kids’ Choice Awards. On top of this, Ryan has an illustrious television resume performing on television shows such as “Dancing With The Stars”, “Glee”, “House”, “American Idol”, “The Voice”, “America’s Got Talent” and “The X-Factor” to name a few. She has also performed with big names such as Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, The Wanted, Pitbull, 50 cent, Carly Rae Jepsen, and is currently on tour with Cher.
Ryan has a true passion for spreading her love for the art of dance and has taught at many studios, intensives and conventions around the country. She discovered her passion for teaching and choreography at a very young age, choreographing her own solos at the age of twelve and getting hired to choreograph for other studios and dancers at the age of fourteen. She has been fortunate to have many amazing teachers and mentors throughout her life and prides herself on her ability to share
